Fanpostal Novel #5: Dangerous Creations (Fanpostal Novels)

Fanpostal Novel #5: Dangerous Creations (Fanpostal Novels)

James L. Shipman II
0/5 ( ratings)
Within the pages of this novel is the full account of two entire fantasy adventures run by a Game Master for a group of Players. It starts from the very beginning and runs to the end of the adventure just like any novel, including every word spoken by the GM, players and NPC characters during a real game that lasted almost nine months. This novel is different than any normal novel you might read, and it is also both funny and interesting at the same time. Once you begin reading it you will get to know each character, not only that but there are many jokes and funny comments made among the players in this game.

Background: "A huge Black Dragon swoops in and rips three knights from their saddles right beside Krandor. Krandor doesn't move, but his war horse prances and whinnies. The knights were dead the moment they were impaled by the great Dragon's claws; there was nothing he could do. The Wizard Grutoss, high commander, and one of the Death Goddess's master wizards, raises his staff in the air and a great stroke of lighting, bright enough to light up the entire valley, jumps from his staff to the retreating Dragon and tears it into small chunks of burning flesh which fall back to the earth. Wizard Grutoss leans against his staff after he brings it back down, having just expended massive amounts of energy.

Wizard Grutoss motions to Krandor, who turns his horse and approaches the aged Wizard. "Go back to Khazan and gather a group of delvers you can trust. Promise them whatever they want or require." Grutoss pulls a paper from his robe and hands it to Krandor. "That will give you the power to take what you need. It comes direct from the Death Goddess. Don't fail me, Krandor. Find your group and return here posthaste." Grutoss sighs and looks back towards the battlefield. At the same time, Krandor rides away fast, back towards Khazan. No further words were needed. A day later, at almost noon, Krandor enters Khazan, his horse hot and lathering, gasping for breath."

Not for your ordinary delver, this battle to save Khazan from imminent invasion promises to be the most ambitious adventure at the yet, from which only the strongest, bravest characters may return.
