Post-Apocalyptic Hell Hole

Post-Apocalyptic Hell Hole

James L. Shipman II
4/5 ( ratings)
[This post-apocalyptic tavern/ex-Starport is a place where people can get together, chat over a cold drink and create new adventures. The year is 2471, and world is in ruins. Strange creatures roam the desert wastes. Have a flaming molten drink and relax!]

"Business has been really slow the past two centuries," the barkeep of the Starport Tavern bemoaned, to no one in particular. Good thing---there was no one there. He dusted the immaculate counter, polished the gleaming taps, adjusted the perfectly plumb pictures on the wall, and paced the spotless floor. A chair was out of place by 0.002 microns. How had he missed that? He looked around his bar, lit dimly by emergency lighting. He knew he should be feeling gloomy, but he could not. Silicon, duralloy and the positronic matrix of a standard issue K1B-Service Robot with MP1 modifications provided him with intelligence, but no emotion. This is a short, but a very unique novel. If you love post-apocalyptic type fiction, then you will love this novel.
