Great read Helped me get on track with daily fitness and as well keeping on my toes with my dental care and as well keeping focused on goal setting. It only takes a small habit for change to happen. Little by little time after time you’ll eventually be in a routine where healthy living and good life making choices become NATURAL
Very Helpful...I found this book to be extremely helpful to me in my chaotic life in need of order. I have began to incorporate things into my daily routine and sticking with them because of the tools given to me by this book. I will be referring back as I continue to create good habits.
Super-usefulSmall, simple and effective thoughts. Damon goes right to the point brings something as important in our life's as habits into life by suggesting small steps. A must-read if you want to change your life for the better.
To be fairMy New Years resolution was to develop good habits. The author is exactly right with how to develop them. I have two or three basic knocks on the book. One, he referenced other parts of the book too much. In chapter 8 he would say he'd talk about it. Then in chapter 8 he would reference the previous chapter. Not a big deal. I also felt I was reading the same thing multiple times. Now, if I hadn't read what I consider one of the best books ever, about a month ago, this book would have b...
It works!I love Damon’s books. They are so easy to read with straightforward instructions on how to deal with common problems. I have already begun to use the small habit system and have more faith than ever that I will be able to stick to whatever habit I want to do in my life. I have always been a hostage of procrastination, laziness, and would always punish myself for not doing the most basic things. Now that I see them as habits rather than chores, tasks or things I have to do, it’s a lot ea...
So, start small and build slowly when trying to establish a new habit that you want to make permanent. Sounds fair and easy enough. But, some of the examples did more than border on ridiculous… particularly, if you want to develop the habit of flossing your teeth then start with just one tooth, and after a few days add one more tooth, etc., until eventually you are flossing all your teeth. Seriously? This is ridiculous. If you want to develop the habit of flossing your teeth then just do it and
How and why to start smallThis is a short read but very useful for people who tend to create goals that are too tedious or overwhelming, therefore failing to turn their actions into life-improving habits. There are several examples and tricks, and very little information that can't be applied immediately to create virtually any habit you have want (limited scientific facts and fluff). This is my first book by this author and I plan to read more. Recommended 👍
A commonsense guide on how to develop small habits that stick. Each step emphasizes the power of starting with tiny changes over a set period of time which naturally develop into a new habit. It’s a good reminder that you are in control of your habits with helpful tips, tricks and guidelines to help you stay on track.
Great and easy read Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I found some stuff very helpful. Some new. Some I already knew but still great to go over again. Looking forward to reading your other books
Good book to help you cement habits into your lifeVery good book that helps you easily navigate the often treacherous journey of developing and cementing positive habits into your life. Well worth the read!
Good habits make good characterHabits underlie character, so strategies to improve habits are important, and this book offers good ones. One at a time, start small, monitor progress...
Small Habits Revolution: 10 Steps to Transform Your Life …. (Kindle Edition) [Kindle Unlimited] — Damon Zahariades (Foreword + 2 titled chapters + 3 titled sections) June 11-20, 2020Another winner by this author! Very well written and there are good tips for even pro habit people. The breakdown is the same as the other action guides: sets out goals, the organization for the guide, breaks down how to accomplish habits, gives personal experience, and then shows, step-by-step how to achieve those h...
This book is simple & quick, but it offers a perspective on creating new habits that is so obvious I'd never thought of it before. I'm already incorporating some of the tips and techniques. I guess the proof will be in how well my new habits stick. But I LOVE the idea of starting so small you'll feel no resistance, and then building/growing from there. I really recommend this if you're into self-improvement and self-reflection. What will really matter, in the long run, is how well these techniqu...
Will use this book as my guideline to develop more new habits. Very good book for those who procrastinate in developing new habits or goals to accomplish. I recommended it to my sons as well to my dad. I got into habbit of my yoga routine and back to reading books which I was missing for several years due to busyness. Now I understand the power of habits, habits which make you feel uncomfortable if you don't do them on a specific time.
