I stayed up all night! This series. What a great combination of paranormal and romance! In this second installment in the series, the author does a fantastic job of moving the overall storyline along at a decent pace, while also developing the relationships of the MC (Ren) and her harem of Alpha shifters.I love that there are real relationship problems they are working on. Insta love has its place, but it wouldn't work in this story. This series has it all--action and adventure, fun and steamy time...
An enjoyable, short and easily read continuation to the story, with some fun developments along the way!I enjoyed seeing how the relationships continued to grow, and am enjoying the fact that the relationships are not instantaneous, rather are being built through getting to know one another in a variety of situations. The storyline continued at a good pace, with some nee paces and interesting turns, and again I found that I had reached the end before I was ready, however I am coming to enjoy the
Honestly, this series is pretty bad. It's copy and paste of every other shifter reverse harem series I've read, with predictable plot issues, unrealistic flat characters with the classic reverse harem traits (the broody one, the smart one, the charismatic one, and the really nice one), and the female lead who has never heard of shifters or lived in a normal human situation, but is suddenly a great leader. Its actually awful, but I'm going to keep reading them because they are quick reads and I n...
Ren discovered in the previous book that she is the last dragon shifter alive and has to have 4 alpha shifters as her mates - such a hard task. However she is starting to get her abilities and emotions under control. However following a trail from her mother, both Ren and her mates have to face trials and dangers along the way. As part of that secrets are unearthed that threaten the peace that exists between shifters and fae - does Ren have the strength to handle everything that is thrown a her?...
This series is a guilty pleasure. Once I start reading, it’s difficult to stop because the story flows so well and I can’t wait to see what happens next between Ren and her mates. I liked this more than the first book. Ren is becoming more confident and the chemistry is growing between her and the guys. The mystery of what happened to her mother is finally revealed.
3.5 StarsSoon to come
Still enjoyableI have to say that I enjoyed the first book more than the second. But I’m still hooked enough to continue with the series. I am a little bit disappointed because I am a stickler for details.Spoiler alert The premise of the book is that the female dragon shifter will have four alpha mates. These alphas will be from each of the four shifter groups: canine, avian feline and disparate... and book one, the heroine has a memory about her lion father. And in book two, she has a memory of...
Spoilers. The plot idea behind this series is great and when it comes to strength and powers the FMC is amazing and strong. That’s why it gets three stars instead of two. However when it comes to the men she allows them to walk all over her and get away with the most basic of apologies all because of the mate bond and pull she has to them. She put Nate in his place and told him off hard simply for being protective yet west has been nothing but mean and hurtful and awful to her and she continues
I have no clue what happened. How did I go from growing a little tired of the Eva Chase books to counting down the days until I can finally pick up the next book? It must have something to do with the first book in this series. For some reason that first book really worked for me, even though it wasn't too deep and it wasn't too complicated. I think it had something addictive. Or well, considering the counting down I'm quite sure it had.The second book in this series was just as addictive as the...
I really love where this series is going. Serenity, known to her friends simply as "Ren", has just discovered that she is the last dragon shifter. What's more, there are four alphas she is destined to mate with. Each is appealing in their own way, but Ren is cautious and doesn't want to jump into a lifelong bond without carefully considering the consequences. Nonetheless, there is a sexual pull that is difficult to resist, much more powerful than simple attraction. Ren, previously a virgin, has
Book was ok. Writing was solid. My lack of enjoyment came from the heroine, mostly. She is so indecisive about the shifter alphas. She claims them all as her mates in all her internal dialogue and to others, but then keeps telling them that she is not sure that she is ready to commit herself to them. It's a little ridiculous. I can understand that she may not be ready to make a lifetime commitment, that is not my issue. My issue is that she is blowing hot and cold constantly. I don't really unde...
