Angels and Demons! The following ratings are out of 5:Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙Romance: 💙💚🖤💜Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎🌍Character development: 😳😬🤩🤓🥺The heroine: Sorsha - She is very tough and independent and has a pet miniature dragon named Pickle. She spends her time freeing shadow monsters from human “collectors” who know about the supernatural beings and keep them in private collections. After rescuing a trio of higher level shadow creatures she helped them free their boss and...
I didn't like this as much as the first, and that was pretty much entirely due to Omen - he was a complete bag of shit. And my problem is not just with him (though, really, fuck him), it is more with the way Sorsha just took all the shit he was dealing out. Why, why, why didn't she throw back in his face that "hey dickhead, of the 5 of us standing here, I'm the only one who wasn't recently put in a cage by these enemies. No, I'm the one who busted your worthless ass out. So if anyone here needs
I’m enjoying this series. There’s a lot of action in the books and I find it keeps everything going at a faster pace. The heroine and her dragon pet Pickles are back this time after rescuing her guys’ leader Omen. So far I’m not a fan of him, he’s grouchy, mean and just an asshole at times. Once the stick up his ass is removed l’m all for sorsha being able to really experience four men at her beck and call 😏 Given Omen’s experiences while being held captive by humans I can’t exactly blame him fo...
I'm in this til the end, I want to see how it all turns out
I just lost interest, it was a never-ending chasing and so on, the romantic plot became insignificant and I barely made it to 40% before I gave up.
Wow amazing Another action-packed storyline in this fast-paced series. This was one gripping edge of your seat read! There is a ton of action and a nice amount of steam.Everyone needs a snap in there lives...I really enjoyed this book, and can’t wait to see what they get up to next.
3 Infuriating And It’s Contagious? StarsTwilight Crook is the second book in the Flirting With Monsters series by Eva Chase. I really wanted to be consumed by this series. It started out fairly well enough, that I had possessed such high hopes. Alas, redirecting the plot and supposition to focus so primarily on the drama with her individual mates just drove me further away. I will not deny a heavy emphasis on this aspect of the story showcased previously, in the first book, but Eva Chase took i...
This series is getting a bit boring for me. And I'm super sad about it. Because it has so much potential to draw me in with it's unique concept. But it's just not doing what I wanted it to do when I started the series. The characters continue to battle the Company of Light in this book. But what makes me feel like I'm falling on the side of disinterest is the fact that this whole fight is one sided, in the "winning" aspect. The Company is ALWAYS one step ahead and the characters seem to be stuck
Saorsa lost her apartment and sense of security while helping the three sexy monsters who followed her home. However, the new lovers (as they now are) make her feel as if she got the better part of the bargain. Unfortunately, their boss Omen who they worked together to rescue, is not at all keen on humans - in fact all he does is test her and try his best to prove that she is not good enough to continue to help them. Too bad then that her mortal skills are far too useful to ignore - after all th...
This is the second book in the series, Flirting with Monsters, we find the crew navigating each other (literally) in this action packed story. Sorsha is a pain, if you ask Oman, but I think he starts to see how special she is and could be beneficial to them. Sorsha discovers she has powers but doesn’t understand what that means or who she really is.
FunI can this fun, and it is, but it’s also a bloody ride of both violence and self realization - for All the characters.
I like the characters in this series but I feel the story some times gets a little lost. I like the way that characters are being unveiled and we find out about them, their pasts and their powers. I would love to know what Sorsha is, what her powers are and so on. I'm glad they got the fourth man back but he seems like an arse at the moment. As it stands at the moment I can't see him and Sorsha together. He needs to do something big to win me over.
