I love a good shifter book. (I have read a lot) Dragon shifters are still pretty new to me but I find that I enjoy them and I really enjoyed this one.This book is told in multiple points of view and I think that this is necessary.I liked Ren, she is a strong female lead that has survived hard times and I liked the way that the story developed, from Ren wanting to celebrate her 21st Birthday, instead she is to discover that unbeknown to her she is a Dragon shifter, not only a Dragon shifter, but

Interesting beginning. I enjoyed the variety of shifter types in this, and the characters are well written. Looking forward to seeing how this unfolds.
It felt like only part of a book. I understand it is a series, but each book should at least feel like its own story, and this felt like only 1 part of a book. It left off before anything really happens to advance the story much, so I was disappointed in that. I'd recommend waiting until the author offers a box set of all books in the series and getting it on sale or something. I don't know that I want to bother continuing though after this.
I'm really tentative on this one, because it has a couple things I really don't like.1 - Doormat heroine. Honestly, I was skeptical. I've heard of Eva Chase for a while and found a whole bundle of the entire series on audible so why not? I was surprised by how fun and addictive this is. There's actually not much romance but more focus on Ren's past, and her learning about her being a dragon shifter which is fun.
