Emotional storyline!Zachary helps a man that can't remember his past, find his first home before he was adopted. They learn how the man had been abused by his real parents. A very emotional book!
Love this series. Ready for the next book!
He Never Forgot is the 9th book in the Zachary Goldman Mysteries Series but it is written in such a way that it can be read as a standalone. I have read other books in the series, so I am acquainted with the characters, but I could have easily read this book and enjoyed it without having had read the other books first. Having said that, I did enjoy the first books and would definitely recommend that you read those as well.Zachary Goldman is a Private Investigator with quite a history of his own....
First book by this author that I readI enjoyed reading this book. The only thing that bothered me was the insertion of a few characters from previous books that didn't add anything to this story. Several scenes were really unnecessary. The final scene with Zachary's sister seemed forced. Their relationship needed more background where the characters Luke and Rhys were not important to this story at all. I know this book is one of many in a series but I think these types of books can and should s...
Wow, that was an interesting tale, trying to mine the mind of a child of 5 many years later. I haven't read books 1-8, so was not familiar with Zachary, so in this book he was a puzzle of adult and child mixed together. But all in all, a good read.
Wow, what a great book. Zachary was the perfect person to take on this case. I love his interactions with his client and also his friends. I can't wait to read about what he does next.
HE NEVER FORGOT is the ninth book in the Zachary Goldman Mysteries series but only the second one I've read. There was a new case for him to solve but we were also reminded of some of his earlier cases and of his own issues growing up and even today. His girlfriend, Kenzie, is a stabilizing force in his life and helps to ground him. I like her personality and how they interact together. His friendship with Rhys took a few unexpected turns.Zachary's new client, Ben, left a lot to be desired given...
There is so much emotion in this book! A man comes to Zachary with a strange request. “Help me find the house I lived in here.” This takes them both on an incredible journey of finding, confronting and letting go of abuse by parents who should have loved them and been their defenders. This book is also a mystery that involves solving a murder. I believe that if you read one of Workman’s mysteries you will be hooked to read them all.
Once again P.D. Workman delivers a powerhouse of a novel! Zachary’s new client wants to find his childhood home. Once they start digging, they find more than expected. This work is brilliantly crafted, with a tight plot and very well developed characters. I wish she could write as fast as I can read! I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one. I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.
This is a brilliant read.Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.Great suspense and action with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.Recommend reading.I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Hard to put downPage turning journey through the mysteries of broken childhoods and broken souls. As part of a series, the book stands on its own . The travesty suffered by far too many children is laid bare. Emotionally raw at times.
Tear JerkerAnother great read although disturbing and sad. Zach uncovers a horrible murder and helps a Client get closure. Eager for more stories featuring Zachary and friends.
