I’m just like, he touches that child with his tail after all the places it’s been.
Oh, MAN. I really like the Cire males and their utterly sweet devotion to their special lady friend once they find her. Their equally sweet protective devotion to any children that might be tagging along (whether the children are theirs by blood or not) is the cherry on top. These Cire's are seriously sweet.Seriously sweet. In this case, Joanna is in a dangerous situation with her ward and Craxan helps pull her out of it. While he's given up hope of ever finding a mate for himself, the moment he
This is the first book I have read by this author but it will not be my last. It is a romance story that has danger mixed in. I loved the hero Craxan, who is a mercenary, and how he saves Sultavi and her nanny Joanna when their home is attacked by a ruthless relative in a power take over. To escape the planet, they pretend to be a family but it quickly becomes something they all want and need. I enjoy stories that have young children added, especially when their dialogue is well written and adds...
⭐⭐⭐⭐I was so glad to see a new release for this series. They always deliver a great story and awesome characters.
4 Stars
*sips* Yup, just as sweet as my honey-laden milk tea. Thank you for the recommendation Nikki!I only found one thing rather annoying: the usual annoyances of mars-needs-women romance - human females pitted against each other. The heroine thinks a lot about how the other 2 women who show up in this book are skinnier, younger, better dressed, etc than her. UGH.
Together with you From a corner in a bar, to a family built to last, this book hit all of the bases for me. I love all of the characters! The author took such care creating them, then adding depth, and color and personality. Even the bad guys brought something special to the story! I enjoyed the struggle for survival, the glimpses into how it began, and the romance that brought it all together. This book was an amazing read and I am looking forward to seeing what happens next.
There really is such a sweetness to this series... considering the lift-off point for all of them!Another family beautifully blended!
Yet another great book in the series. And stead of being used as a breeder, Joanna was bought by the ruler of his country to be a nanny for his daughter. During the year that she was a nanny to Sultavi she fell in love with the little girl and thought of her more as a daughter. Joanna wasn’t treated as a slave, she was treated with respect, and was left to teach and raise Tavi. After Tavi‘s father is betrayed, she is on the run with Joanna who will do anything to protect the little girl. They ne...

"Please, Craxan. You’re our only hope.”Craxan is at as crossroads when a message meant for his mentor comes to him, A plea for help, calling in an old debt. An honorable warrior, Craxan will do this in his mentor's honor... but he has no idea what he's really getting into.Joanna probably can't decide if her life would be better or worse if her charge, Sultavi were a brat. Instead she's A charmer who has stolen her Nanny's heart, and chances of returning to the life she was kidnapped from a year
This was a surprisingly sweet sci-fi alien romance. It had plenty of steam, but many sweet moments as well. The alien H (and his entire race) adored children, and it was so sweet how he would do anything for them. The way the alien H looked was a bit different, but that didn't seem to bother the h.I liked both Craxan and Joanna, but wasn't sure I would like Craxan at first. He seemed a bit hardened by the losses in his life. He soon became a total sweetheart to Joanna and little Sultavi, though,...
