If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would!
This book was brilliant and the main characters with there strong and independent ways made this a page turner right up until the very end. King S’quent was falsely accused by his brother S’ning and was taken to the prison planet Folsom where he was treated badly and while he plotted his revenge and escape he was given a gift a female and human one at that and her scent drove him crazy with lust for he had found his mate. Marcy has always been sick which is why she rarely went outside she becaus...
This is book four in the Alien Most Wanted series, but can be read as a standalone. You will not be lost if you have not read any of the previous books. S’quent has been unjustly imprisoned by his cruel brother that wanted to take over the thrown that rightfully belonged to S’quent. He has spent the last five years trying to find a way to return the prison and the land around it to the jungle like it should have been. Even though he was able to escape, he has stayed to help the native people of
The mysterious S'quent is up and our guy is just as smitten with his little human as the brothers were. And Marcy isn't AT ALL afraid of the big guy. In fact, she kind of likes everything about him. From his gentleness with her to his scientific mind and all the things in between. As for S'quent, having a human woman who isn't terrified (of him or the situations, really) forced on him throws him for a bit of a loop. For one thing, he has a plan in motion and Marcy's sudden appearance could potent...
It was just ok, not the best I have read from this author. Since this was the end of the series, I would have liked to see a little more to it. I would have wanted her to go into more detail about taking over the prison and more about Ranchi, the second in charge. With the first books, he seemed to always be up to something. He had a reason for bringing the women and who he gave them to how the warden never got them. All we got was he was making money, and a vine killed him. The end was short an...
I loved this. Not wuite the same as the others but you wouldn't want it to be any way would you? Now don't get me wrong I have loved the brothers but ever since there was that little bit about S'quent in the original novella story with Riker I have been wanting to have his own story. You just knew that he was not what he was made out to be and there is far more to him than you would expect. He has been pondering about human women for some time since his original encounter with one so imagine his...
This book had a really different feel than the earlier 3 books. In those earlier 3 books they had to figure out how to escape the prison while at the same time keeping their human mate safe from other prisoners. In this book, S'Quent is given the female as a gift and told he can keep her as long as nobody else knows she's there. He is suspicious but accepts.SPOILER PSOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER They take things slow and she is a scientist like he is so they fall in love. s'quent has a secret ca...
This book is awesome because the FMC has a disability. So many deal with chronic conditions and autoimmune diseases that this really hit home. Invisible illness, it's a thing! (I have fibromyalgia, so I relate.) Marcy is abducted and ends up in an alien prison. Marcy is super smart and has a technical job on earth. S'quint is a king, but finds himself imprisoned. He's a super science nerdy geek, too! This book was SUPER steamy. That really worked for me. S’quint. His wings, his black velvety yum...
My favorite of the series!WOW! This book is lava! *fans self*This is a fated mates series!Virgin heroine! No other woman/man drama. No cheating. There is use a aphrodisiac: heroine was given the aphrodisiac and coerced to drink it or the hero and her would face dire consequences.(At this point, both of them already wanted to jump each other’s bones but didn’t because S’quent is a hulking dude and Marcy is petite so he’s been “preparing her baby” to accept his 🍆!! 😉🌶)S’quent is just such a damn drea...
While I love virtually everything Honey Phillips writes, (and am thankful that she is a fast writer!), I was a little disappointed that everything fell together too easily and without much conflict. S'quent has had a reoccurring appearance in all the Folsom Planet Blues stories, but I thought he would have a much darker and grittier backstory. While Marcy has her own issues, she fell into the situation (aliens, prison, etc) with barely a "huh?"The villains were 'off stage' baddies, meaning if yo...
I've been a fan of Honey Phillips for a while but some how I missed this series until this one came along. I binged all 3 in a day (this a standalone but I wanted the whole universe. It also connects into other series). The trilogy has a hea with a sweet post credit. S'quent was a mysterious background character who always seemed more important than we saw especially at the end of the last book. We're introduced to Marcy and that's all you're getting.More great writing from Honey, she always man...
I have to admit that while I was scrolling down the book's page to write this review and formulating my leading line in my head, I was momentarily disappointed and paused, since the first review's leading line was stating the same, and it is absolutely true. This story did not and does not disappoint. I was one of the readers that was just bouncing in her seat, waiting for S'quent's story.Quick, enjoyable and entertaining story. Read it in the hours after work and before bed. Author did a great
This is a Ten Star Read! Yes, this is the best in the series and I am disappointed that it has come to a close. I loved the character of S’quent…he is a complex alpha male whose kindness and depth just melted me into a pile of goo. The air of mystery of this character further intrigued me and I wanted to know more about him even from the first book. I also loved Marcy. I LOVE a strong female character that is intelligent and wise…she never let her disabilities stop her from achieving what she de...
I loved this book! I was so interested in S'quent when he first appeared in book one- Caged Beast- and was hoping he would get his own book. So when I saw he was, I was beyond excited! He was so much more than I expected and I loved him entirely. I loved Marcy just as much- maybe a little more! She has disabilities, but for all of those problems, she is extremely smart and rational. I found her personality very unique compared to other heroines I read in paranormal romance. I thought Marcy and S...
