Fae Gate

Fae Gate

Ryan J. Call
0/5 ( ratings)
The last thing thirteen-year-old Brendan Jenkins wanted to do was move from California to middle-of-nowhere Montana, losing his friends in the process. His dad gave him no choice, but he promised Brendan that he would make new friends and find plenty of exciting things to do. His dad failed to mention that some of Brendan’s new friends wouldn’t be human and that the excitement he would find included the revival of an ancient war that would threaten his life, his family, and the fate of humanity.

But, while exploring his new home, an old mansion that he is certain holds secret passages and long-lost treasure, Brendan discovers the Fae Gate—a magical link to a mirror-universe copy of earth that serves as a prison for magical beings and supposedly mythical creatures.

Within the mirrored lands, Brendan befriends the half human-half faerie, Fiona, discovers that he has the ability to wield magic, and finds more adventure and danger than he ever could have imagined when he runs afoul of the dark faeries—vengeful beings of twisted dark magic that are determined to escape and punish mankind for their long imprisonment, starting with Brendan’s family. To save them and the rest of humanity, Brendan and Fiona must seek out the dreaded Dark Court and defeat the leader of the dark faeries. It would be a tall order for a master of magic, and it’s much worse for an inexperienced boy and a half faerie girl who has always struggled with her magical ability, and in a land inhabited by so many dangerous creatures, can they even survive long enough to try?
